Accelerated Medical Assistant Program

Our Medical Assistant students attend both in-person and online classes. Our hybrid program consist of a combination of in-person and online lectures and labs. Our curriculum and educational approach provides a flexible, affordable and achievable option for individuals who want to further their education.

The program is designed to allow students to take care of weekly assignments hybrid. In-person classes that are typically held once or twice per week which allows the following:

To give students an opportunity to practice skills and procedures in a classroom and clinical setting. Our students are also able to gain their Phlebotomy Technician and EKG Technician Diploma in this accelerated track.


Our program completion fulfills state clinical requirements for completion of the medical assistant Phlebotomy & EKG certification program through NAHP, NHA and NCCT.

Accelerated Nurse Assistant & Patient Care Technician Program

The Accelerated Nurse Assistant & Patient Care Technician Program includes instruction in basic nursing skills, basic restorative services, mental health, social service needs, personal care skills, and resident’s rights. Students will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to care for convalescing residents in long term care facilities in 4 to 7 weeks. Graduates of this program will be able to perform Basic First Aid, CPR, take vital signs, apply the element of basic nutrition in meal planning, and follow infection control measures.

Following successful completion of the course, the student will receive a certificate of completion of the nursing assistant and Patient Care Technician course. A permanent record of course completion will be maintained at AAHA The nursing assistant training is an excellent starting place in health care for those students intending to go further with their medical education. The student will be eligible to sit for the Nurse Assistant and PCT certification exams if all skills have been met.

Phlebotomist Technician Program

Enroll in this hands-on, innovative class and take part in a unique, challenging learning experience. Our qualified and skilled instructors serve as facilitators in the course, guiding students through academic exploration and individual learning.

You can become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) with our Hybrid phlebotomy training program.

 

Phlebotomy jobs are increasing by 24.3% over the next 10 years! Upon completion of this program, students wishing to sit for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam will be required to complete 50 venipunctures and 20 capillary sticks on a live person. Nurse Assistant Career

This is offered in our Accelerated Nurse Assistant & Patient Care Technician Program which includes instruction in basic nursing skills, basic restorative services, mental health, social service needs, personal care skills, and resident’s rights. Students will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to care for convalescing residents in long term care facilities in 4 weeks including the EKG and Phlebotomy portion in the additional program length to gain 2 Diplomas.

Patient Care Technician Career

This course is offered in our Accelerated Nurse Assistant & Patient Care Technician Program it will prepare you to work as a capable entry-level patient care technician (PCT). This course is a dual course included with the Accelerated Nurse Assistant Program , you will learn the skills needed to perform well in this role and contribute to a medical team. Gain knowledge on bedside care and vital healthcare procedures such as emergency room protocols, phlebotomy, electrocardiography (ECG) and hemodialysis. Strong communication skills and empathy are important for a PCT’s line of work as they interact with patients, patients’ families, nurses and doctors.
